The data derived from such models will be insufficient and I find it infuriating that they have some charlatan in a lab-coat saying "unscientific" when the PETA alternative would arrest life sciences research, retard our understanding of health&disease and impair our quest to improve and create therapeutic interventions. End suffering in animals or humans I myself will choose the latter. The fact that you don't "buy it" means you may not understand the fundamentals of experimental methodology

An intact, living organism is different in countless ways to man-made models (culture, informatic models etc). Consider any system: GI,nervous, resp,CV,endocrine, renal etc which has several cell types composing tissue&organs with structure/function relationships not reproducible outside the living entity. Then consider the immense cross talk at the molecular, cellular, and organ level. The non-animal models that PETA suggest do not factor in these concerns being hell bent on pushing an agenda

Funny how the vice president of PETA lives off of insulin, which was developed through animal testing. PETA members love to live off the benefits of animal testing, but tell others not to. Sorry, but the graphic images and cliche dramatic music isn't going to convince me to support hypocritical dipshits.
anthonygador-- The large amount of recalled drugs speaks volumes about animal testing. Before you go on, I suggest you goto the PETA site and see how animal testing is regularily used. Mars Candy and many cosmetic companies rely on animal testing, and it's not for "research biology." There are alternatives to animal testing which I feel aren't encouraged in scientific circles. Science has put a man on the moon, but can't find ways to stop and avoid cruel animal testing? I don't buy it.

You should let them test it on you then we get to save a precious little bunny. Or we can get our products untested. Would you like that? Even though you PETA members don't like animal tested products. Think of this Ingrid, The vice president of PETA takes insulin for her diabetes. An animal tested medicine.

"its true animals have a different system then ours they just kill animals for the name of "recearch"
atleast peta supports and helps these animals"
Truly spoken like one with no knowledge of science and/or biomedical research.
