To all Hugh Laurie fans out there, check out his performance as Bertie Wooster in 'Jeeves & Wooster', on British TV in the late 80s/early 90s. You could see then how good an actor he was.

First of all, the "British Colonies" haven't existed since '81. So, are we just talking about the UK, here, or all of the overseas territories and the Commonwealth realms, too?
Assuming you meant the latter, I though you should know that in Australia, a self-governing member of the Commonwealth which recognises QEII as Head of State, it is rare to sing God Save the Queen these days. It's really only the baby boomers who still know it.

This has been posted for a couple years now and I'm late. Huge fan here. I wonder, where does the attitude come from? He must have a roll model from his youth or an obnoxious neighbor to channel for this roll? It's acting and he does it well. Also, I'm American and am puzzled at his American-style English. The languages are similar yes. But wouldn't it be like removing his tonsils to change it that much? Wow. He's a great actor.

Yeeeaaahh...whatever. Obviously you're just out for a pointless argument. Not interested anymore. Have a nice day.
