it's easy to find in southern if you know a farm field nearby river then you will harvest pounds and pounds of shrooms because river gives moisture out and southern has good tempature so it's perfect climate place to find shrooms.. be careful if you dare to go to southern and try to harvest on your own, i have seen a lot of poisonous mushrooms.. i would say about 60 percent of mushrooms on farm field are poisonous.. also, be sure you boil so you dont get parasite eggs in ur stomach

No, I know they grow in America, but in northern Minnesota they are hard to find because the season is so short. The ones we get in my city are usually homegrown or brought in from other states.

Yes I have to been able to find an abundance of mushrooms here in Alabama during their peak season and have had some interesting experiences with them .Syd Barretts music was none the less very interest and some of the best stuff I can remember from him was alot of his early solo stuff and what he did with Pink Floyd, Umma Gumma and Saucer full of secrets era..THe good stuff
