What a circus! Waxman has no intention of listening to what Mr. Greenspan has to say - he just wants to hear the words "I was wrong, my ideology was wrong". Pathetic.

It's because he was wrong... and look at our economy now. If it's not Greenspan's fault then who's fault is it? Please educate yourself!
I do not see Greenspan admitting anything to that asshole, Waxman. He admitted that PART of his ideology in how markets mitigate risks was wrong. Waxman (a communist) can lecture about ideology? Bull shit!

Ayn Rand must have unleashed a rebel yell from the grave after hearing Greenspan admit his ideology was flawed. I love it when intelligent, thoughtful, successful, influential, confident human beings (who look down on all others as weak and puny) are proven to be wrong and fallible. Life always wins.
