Many women would recent their children if they were the result of a sexual assault. Call me weak, but I'm not different from many women who would feel the same way in the situation. I feel for the 48 million babies who were aborted, but in some situations the mother may have had no other choice.

Okay, I understand it is wrong, but sometimes one needs to do what is best for them. I said that in my other comment that it is wrong. All I'm saying is that abortion can not and will not ever be fully eliminated. Maybe I haven't focused on the baby but some people seem to be inconsiderate of the mother. It is ones own opinion whether or not to abortion is "horrible". Personally, if I was raped and became pregnant I don't think I could handle bearing a child of a rapist. Would you?

Abortion may not be right but it should be a woman's choice. If it was just in cases of sexual assault, then many girls would start reporting that they were assaulted falsely just so that they would have the choice of having an abortion. Really, in the end if a women really wants an abortion she will find a way to make it happen.
Just my opinions. Nobody has to agree.

Read my earlier comments. The excuse of rape and incest already happens today. Just because a woman can find a way to perform an abortion, doesn't make it right. More people are outraged over some guy who steals money on Wall Street, then are upset about the 48 million babies who were ripped from the protection of their mother bellies !

Sorry, but if R v W were to be overturned, don't you think they would've done it by now? So sorry, nope, it's never gonna be overturned, and for good reason. The majority of Americans believe that women, not the government, should have control over their reproductive choices.

headhunter004: R v W has only been in existence since 1973 or there about. Before that, we lived under Federalist laws, which left these matters for the States to decide. But under RvW, It's precisely the (federal) government that has eliminated all choice in the matter. It's true that the vast majority of Americans support a woman's choice to conceive a child. It's also true that the majority of Americans are strongly against the murder of innocent unborn babies.

It takes courage to deal with rape, period. It always takes courage to bring a baby into the world, especially under the duress of such extreme circumstances as rape. Where you're misguided and wrong, is that you continually focus on everyone except the baby. Why would you compound one horrible event, by making a second horrible decision (abortion)? These ads are disgusting, because they make it seem like rape induced pregnancies are the 'Norm'. Far from it.

Where you're misguided and wrong is that you continually focus on everyone but the woman. Aborted fetuses resulting from rape don't feel pain, whereas the raped women that carry them to term do, FACT. Unborn children don't have rights until infancy, thus the woman's rights outweigh theirs, FACT. Unborn rapist children ARE NOT so much "babies" as they are collections of cells during the first week, FACT. Your arguments to try to justify this asanine and insensitive cause are severely flawed.
