then she goes in the tub sybolism for her drowning alone. she realizes that she's "bleeding", or that she's been hurting. She sees her future if this continues. She's attempted sucide and the hospitial people are trying to save her life. her running in the hall is like her desperatingly trying to save herself. The baby's is symbolic for her chance at a new life.the orginal ending ended with her emerging from the water but the record company made her add it because they thought it promoted sucide
she wants this guy (in the striped shirt) to notice her so bad but all she is gets is attention from the tabloids. She's upset and instead of paying attention to her and realizing that he's her everything he lashes out at the tabloids which makes them even worse. She's drowning and lonely but she gets mad and walks out.
