For many children, cats and dogs are the preferred choice of pet ... but a boy in Cambodia has befriended something a little different.
The 7-year-old has kept a five metre long python since it slithered into the family home when he was just a baby.
Uorn Sambath tells us why the snake is his best friend.

The snake loves him its that simple
its instincts tell it to eat him but it wont because it loves him so its forfited its instincts which can mean life or death for the poor snake if its thrown back in the forest so it can stay with him

Well, these things may be commmon, but may also be dangerous o_O
That boy shouldn't trust in a snake, even the snake was his "best friend"
I think strange, but who knows, that snake could even be friendly =\
I wish I had that kinda connection with friggin' PEOPLE and this kid pulls it off with a wild python. Kudos to you. xD
But that's really something, I wish I had a snake like that. And he just casually does it too, that's astonishing. Just imagine laying around...let's say watching TV, with a big ass python wrapped/laying around/on you and your not worried because you have that kind of connection. Damn, haha. xD

snakes of that size are VERY intelligent. as they grow so does their brain and this means intelligence devlopes. and because the boy was there the whole time it knows it as a friend

please explain to me how a person smells like a boar or a deer? you must smell like total ass if you think people smell like a snakes natural prey. fyi, a snake that size could go well over a year w/o eating and be perfectly fine.
