It's Shiites. Not "Shiates". I don't think you know the difference either, considering that you can't even spell the name properly. But of course gaffes are not really the point. Obama makes them as much as if not more than McCain. All politicians make gaffes. The point is that ignorant partisan hacks saying "Alzheimers" for one candidate but not questioning the mental acuity of their own candidate when he makes similar mistakes are engaging in ageism. Fact.

LOL! If I was the Chairman of the FEC and was watching this, this would definitely cause me to spit out my coffee. Talk about a WTF moment, when a Presidential candidate calls for your resignation, when you clearly have nothing to do with the Economy. LOL!

As the campaign wears on, McCain appears increasingly haggard and feeble. His "senior moments", such the one in this video where he says FEC instead of SEC, are becoming more frequent. To this observer, the rigors of the campaign are betraying McCain's advanced years. McCain's handlers are quick to ridicule such observations as "ageism." In cold realty, however, concerns about McCain's mental acuity and physical health are quite relevant, especially given his wholly unprepared running mate.

Except Obama matches McCain for senior moments. What's his excuse? Like when he thinks his grandma is "a typical white person." Like when he thinks smalltowns are "bitter and cling to religion." Like when he thinks 10,000 people died in a tornado when in reality it was 12. Like when he fumbles that abortion is "above his pay grade." Like when told a Selma audience that the 1965 March on Selma resulted in his conception when he was born in 1961! Wow he must be getting senile.

Keep reaching...it is really sounding pathetic. Poor thing!

Get over it you oversensitive thin-skinned ninny. Her comments were belittled at every turn because she very confidently mocked McCain for not knowing an obscure part of administrative law. Turns out, McCain was not actually wrong that the SEC Chairman can be fired. In fact, it is you retards saying that commissioners of independent agencies can't be fired who are wrong. So you fully deserve to have what you flung at McCain flung back in your face. Fair's fair. It's hilarious.

Like Obama confusing his Christian faith with his "Muslim faith"? Like Obama thinking there are "57 states"? Apparently the doddering young fool can't keep up with the doddering old dude.
MystikWizard (Saturday 20th of September 2008 08:07:55 PM)
Hey, Sklanger. You mean like when McCain confused Sunni and Shitte? You mean when McCain confuses the location of Pakistan? You mean when McCain thinks Spain is in South America? You mean when McCain thinks Putin is President of Germany? You mean when McCain confused when the Surge that he supported, actually began?
sklanger (Saturday 20th of September 2008 10:35:15 PM)
Hey we can play this game all day. Like Obama confusing his Christian faith with his "Muslim faith"? Like Obama thinking there are "57 states"? Like Obama thinking Arkansas is closer to Kentucky than Illinois? Like Obama confusing Sioux Falls with Sioux City? Like Obama thinking people in Afghanistan speak ARABIC? I would say not knowing how many states your OWN COUNTRY has has when you're trying to be president of that country is far more embarrassing than confusion about foreigners.
