No one gave James Buster Douglas much of a chance when he faced Iron Mike Tyson on February 11, 1990, in the Tokyo Dome. Tyson was at that point considered the pound-for-pound best boxer on the planet and was seemingly invincible due to his utter domination of the division.

Tyson was so completely dominated, you can't even say with any confidence that a peak, properly trained and motivated Mike Tyson would have beaten Buster on that night. If a fighter ever got exposed it was Tyson on this night

No, No, No...Douglas was following the refs count and waited until he got to 9 before standing up. If the ref had picked up the count from ringside Douglas would have still gotten up in time.
People just can't get over that Tyson got beat 19 years later.
