Exceed RC F-35 EDF 2 flights. Jet review by Dave Herbert

Back

I got this Exceed F-35 from NitroPlanes.com. They are on sale there now. Here is the link: For today's discounted price on them. http://www.jdoqocy.com/click-3235026-10507606 Thanks to Mike Mas, "helicopter extraordinaire" at http://www.rotory.com for his cameo appearance. The plane went together in a couple of hours and is a blast to fly. Make sure to check your linkages and get a couple of extra batteries, as it uses it up in about 7-9 minutes. Please subscribe for more testing and have fun. Happy Flying, Dave

Hi Dave. Super duper vids! Very informative. Which are your 2 top jets? I like the Art-Tech EF2000 & Exceed F35. Although the Exceed F18 Blue Angels rocks, too. Any change of reviewing an F16? By the way, is it possible to custom paint the jets? What type of paint would you use? Thanks for any info you can provide. Keep up the great work. Regards, Marco

This thing is fuckin awesome. I definitely want one. But what sucks is there is no VTOL ability. I wonder how long till we get a VTOL EDF F-35????
whitecollarcriminal (Wednesday 7th of January 2009 07:53:36 PM)
YES. The plane is able to glide to the ground if its a design with a lifting body. In fact, most EDF planes are designed to glide.

I have a quistion. When a plane run's out of battery in mid flight, does the motor shut off?

Hi Dave, I've flown 2 channel planes before and I'm quite good. Do you think i could fly this plane, or is there any other RC ducted fan plane I that should get. P.S Great video

There is a big difference in this and 2 channel airplanes. It is fast and you have to know how to fly fast and land fast. I do not recommend this for beginning. Learn on a VW, then if you never crash it, get the Porsche. Try a Slo Stik.

He's just desperate to sell his crappy products in order to feed his kids!

Who is desperate? I dont sell anything. I just review them. My kid is long gone too.

Flew smoother than I had expected. Too bad it doesn't have the VTOL capability like the real thing. The things I would do for a working VTOL RC Jet.
NightFlyyer (Friday 2nd of January 2009 08:22:05 AM)
Yeah, I bet the price of the real VTOL would certainly be higher than $155 for sure. Well most people like to crank this jet on anyway not sit and do boring hovering. (my helis do that). LOL. And it really cranks on too, making it totally exhilarating to fly.
