And I have 2 ask; when was this song released? What's the 20 yr reference? All the "golden age" stuff? "All will pass, all will end 2 fast?" Sounds vaguely apocalyptic - personal apocalypse, or communal/global? "You're the Truth/truth, not I." Spiritual reference? If I were a new ager, I'd say this might be 2012 stuff... :)
Or is it the two in analogy to each other?

Damn, they're good!! It's that combination of visceral, gut-tightenning vulnerability, and that strangely liberating, dejected, expansiveness; like being naked in a place of bleak natural beauty. Talk about compelling tensions!!
