By the way, Journey was amazing, but only because of Steve Perry. He made them hat they were, and they are nothing now that he's gone from them. Love you too much, Steve!

There were three main bands of the 80's that sold out every show. They were Journey, REO Speedwagon, and Styx.

I think it was around 1977, also toured with Rush, Deep purple, Kansas, David Bowie, Roxy Music, Blue Oyster Cult, Aerosmith, The Cars, Head East, Montrose, Black Oak Arkansas.....

bubblegum?? no not bubblegum. that would be like the jackson 5 back in the day. They were a prog rock band, then they went a direction that was called arena rock combining hard rock and pop

Journey is excellent but like styx a little more becuse they had trippy keyboards and prog metal style rock songs before all the ballads!
