This song reminds me of the love my mom and dad used to have for each other...thanks for that memory.

When you take into consideration ALL the songs written by kris for himself & others,an argument could be made that he is one of the premier lryicist of our lifetime. His singing voice leaves a bit to be desired at times, yet he still stands out as a great performer.

Pretty much, easily the greatest lyricist as far as country goes. He would've made a better folk artist than a country artist...oh well.

Who is to say he is not a folk artist??? It's all a matter of opinion, don't you agree?? At the very least we can say he is a folk/country or country/folk lyricist....which ever you choose. Have an open mind.

Kris should have been a folkie. His lyrics are way too good for country...he would've made the perfect Folk artist, but he has done his thing. Classics like this and others will always live on. Truly one of the great lyrical talents.

Me Too, Hearing Kris again reminds me of a 1974 concert at Saratoga Performing Arts Center. Was with his very tight band and lovely and talented Ex wife Rita...Wow

NOBODY! And I mean NOBODY could ever compare to Kris Kristofferson. He is one of a kind! I have loved him ever since the 70's.
