The Mediterranean region has always been "water poor". But now it is facing rising demand amid predictions of less rainfall.
The Mediterranean has seven per cent of the worlds population, but only three per cent of its fresh water.
In Greece's western Thessaly region, the problem is particularly acute.

In Greece we should develop some proper politics regarding water handling so we can be more optimistic for the future.This issue is also complex with many differing views...anyway, thanks Al Jazeera for bringing the issue to the world!!!
