the assambly line of the A380 is in Toulouse, France. The A380 is a european project, the parts are produced in UK, Spain, Germany and France.
In the future all wide body airplanes will be assembled in Toulouse, and all narrow body planes will be assembled in Hamburg, Germany
I think the negative rating of my comment comes frome some jealous french guys who are thinking that airbus is FRENCH.
Wake up, dudes. Concentrating the assembly lines of wide body planes in Toulouse and narrow body planes in Hamburg is economical!
22 planes of the A 318, 319, 320 and 321 series are assembled in Hamburg a month in this days.
In the future the new A320 series (From 2013) will be assembled exclusive in Hamburg.
French guys, if you've ever heard of google check it out!

PARIS (AFX) - Airbus is to concentrate production for the next generation of its A320 planes in Hamburg, while building the new A350 and A380 in Toulouse, La Tribune reported.
The A320 at present is manufactured by separate assembly lines in Toulouse and Hamburg. The German city is expected to take over the entire production for the A320, according to La Tribune (nyse: TRB - news - people )

I'm French and I totally accept this idea of sharing work.
Airbus is EUROPEAN but some people are not able to understand or accept it.
As far as I'm concerned, I am proud that the French can work with Germans, Spaniards, Britons and other European people. Together we are more powerful and competitive.

@ vanblabla
I appriciate your comment. As a european, I'm proud of the fantastic project Airbus.
For a single european country it was too expensive to found a complete new plane constructing and assembling company, which is able to compete with Boeing.
As we see today, it was a need for a big european Airbus company.
Imagine, we had no counterpart for Boeing today. We would still fly 747-200, 727, 737-200. As a monopolist, Boeing would never develop a plane like the B787
