You will get alot of different answers.
Hip-hop = A lifestyle that encompasses breakdancing, graff art, producing and emceeing.
Rap = The art of emceeing.

Hip Hop is more of a culture influenced by the music and Rap (or emceeing) is actually performing that music whether in a studio or in front of a crowd.

One of the very few hip hop albums I ever heard that was worth listening too. Being mostly a metalhead I think "The Score" is an amazing work of art. This and "Fu-Gee-La" are my favorite songs on there :)
