Richard Lindzen was on Larry King Live a few nights ago discussing Global Warming with a panel of experts that included Bill Nye the Science Guy. A TV personality and former sketch comedy member against an atmospheric physicist and a professor of meteorology at MIT. Julian Morris and Lindzen make excellent points for which the alarmists have no answer. It's the same old song and dance, they always mention the "consensus" and the IPCC report.

i would love for you to be right, obviously. the evidence shows otherwise though and even if you are right, why not try to change things just in case? dont give me the free market argument cause i know you will.
besides that though, if temperature causes an increase in CO2 levels and not the other way around, why do all records show an initial increase in CO2 levels and then an increase in temperatures afterward? all evidence shows an increase in CO2 equates to an increase in temperature

It's interesting that Richard Lindzen mentioned textbooks considering that years ago textbooks used to say that the sun revolved around the earth rather than vice versa, and science is all about new discoveries. How many new discoveries have been made that have caused the textbooks to be rewritten? Countless. Evolution, Continental Drift Theory, Theoretical Physics, The Periodic Table of the Elements, Einstein's Theory of Relativity and others.

bill nye seriously needs to shut up. hes more a science teacher, not a scientist. he gets 'facts' then spouts them like he found the data and concluded it himself.

He has a BS in mechanical engineering from Cornell and developed hydraulic pressure resonance suppressors used in 747s while working for Boeing. I'd love to hear why you think he isn't a scientist. He's taught more kids to love and get into science than probably anyone. What have you done with your life?

not much but at least i can say with clean conscience that global warming is not man made. the 'green house gasses' produced by human activity is around 2%. and yes i used to love bill nye when i was kid, but the more and more i see him on tv the more i see that hes a talking head just like the rest of them.they give him his talking points and he spouts them, and he seems quite bitter now-a-days.

ya i agree with achurch. science teachers obviously know nothing about science even though we, and yes i say we because i am one, have to go to school for at least 6 years and study science the entire time. we are such idiots

im not saying science teachers are idiots but theirs a difference between doing the investigative research, and spouting it. your not an idiot because you dont go on live television and make claoms like you did the research.
