He is always wrong. A former Marxist who has now converted into a neocon who supports the Iraq war. He supports the Iraq war mainly because he hates Islam. Whatever you may think of religion, there are several loony secular ideologies. I think that's why he gravitated to Marxism and now neoconservatism. Both believe mankind can bring about a heaven on earth.

interesting, soo much intellect and on the button about the religious organization, but here he is kissing u.s governnments ass, the same ppl who supported most of those organizations in the late 70's and 80's, talk about delusional

Oh please, it's called being a freethinker. The US government have just taken a position that he had already taken. Are you going to abandon your principles because a bad administration is taking the same path? Opposing an administration no matter what is not healthy.

anyone noticing the advertisement that keeps showing up with atheist videos now? the so called atheist riddle ad? Ranks up there with scientology ads springing up.

Not the easiest of reads (at least not for me). But well written and brilliantly articulated indeed. Dawkins was more for the lamen, IE, easier to understand whereas Hitchens is so well spoken that he forgets that most people don't know all those massive words he uses. I had his book in one hand and the dictionary in the other, but thanks to him I now have a wider range of word usage. Enjoy!

I do the same.I've learned it's easier to read 1/2 a chapter at a time.
