Miyazaki Hayao's biography. It's the cultural project that I did with my classmate for the Japanese final. Briefly talks about Miyazaki's background and his works. Due to the limited 10 minutes given by our sensee, the narration has to be fast in order to cover all materials (sorry, the mic sux). My classmate did the narration and wrote the skit. I did the video/photos research and video editing. Enjoy!

they tried too destroy the films. Laputa; the castle in the sky has an added scene of some white guy explaining the plot outright.

Although Disney has gone downhill pretty fast in the last couple of decades, they put John Lasseter on the crew to dub the Ghibli movies into English. John truly understands Miyazaki's work and retained the integrity of the original scripts. He did an amazing job with not only casting the voices, but making sure the language captured the beauty of Miyazaki's original intent. I love these movies.
