kurt isnt a god, he was a regular guy wanting to play music and make money to live life. he didnt want fame or the mass media. he is a legand for the fact that all rock nowadays has some grunge sound to it -especially nickelback. he changed rock so much and that is why he is a legand.

oh god i just listened to courtney love's version of this, it was utterly terrible. she didn't even come close to matching the raw emotion kurt put forth in this song. it breaks my heart to listen to him scream pain like that because of how much pain, physically and emotionally, he was really in.
