This is an interesting idea... I'm not quite sure how I feel about it, but for those saying send food not laptops: you're right, poorer countries need basic resources desperately. I think what these people are trying to do is target the source: if the children of these countries get a greater education, more possibilities are created, a renewable resource of creativity. We can send as much raw resources as we can muster, and help many people, but only internal change will create real change.
