Rare, but boy were they ugly buses! I think this Weymann Hermes body made the Tilling Group contemporaries (Bristol LS and MW) look nice by comparison.
Must have been a bundle of joy to drive that thing. Steering wheel only takes about twenty turns as you go around a corner. Why weren't they given power steering?

Referring to my previous comment about Western Welsh buses, there was also WW no.469, later no.1469,(JUH 469). This vehicle was either, another Leyland Olympian or a Leyland Olympic.
I remember when Western Welsh had a sizeable fleet of these buses. They were saloons Nos.1200-39(LKG 200-39) and DPs Nos.1485-90(OUH 485-90), although the latter were originally numbered 485 etc.
