A few years ago, i was drunk, and i found a caterpillar on the pavement. I took it home and tossed it onto a houseplant and went to bed.
Forgot about it for weeks, then came home on a day when all the windows were shut , to see a large brown moth on the curtain.
So i let it go, out into the world.
This was awesome, I've actually seen the caterpillar in real life split its skin and metamorphosize into the cacoon! It was a treat to see, its a rare thing to see as well.
im waiting for my giant swallow tails to hatch from there pupas. i cant wait.
