Okay first off Cheney would be getting a check from Haliburton even if hey made no money, he bought into a "salary insurance" program that guarantees his salary no matter how the company does. Second to have a problem with a contractor making more money than a military counterpart is stupid. Third all this rise in the use of civilian contractors was actually Clinton's idea to cut the defense budget.
