ask the average 8 year old to name the planets - they probably haven't the foggiest... We need to show these to our children instead of garbage music videos

I knew the planets, in order, when I was 7. That's because my 2nd grade teacher made the "basic" more enjoyable. That was back in 1985.
Nowadays, teachers have to make everything more advanced, and at a level kids can't handle.

the beginning of the end of schoolrock. this & energy is when the series jumped the shark.
Venus' atmosphere is mostly carbon dioxide (this is what we breathe out) and the rest is mostly nitrogen. There is a very thick layer of poisonous clouds covering the entire planet. These clouds are made up of sulfuric acid droplets. the atmosphere is so thick and heavy that you'd be crushed by the pressure. Other than the Sun, Venus is the hottest place in our solar system. Even hotter than Mercury! In the upper atmosphere, the wind gets up to 350 km/h. That's 217 mph.

I learned this song when I was 3, though I wasn't here in the '70s.
I never understood it ether xD
I loved this SO much when I was a little girl. I STILL love it! I know every word by heart! Thanks for putting this up. What a blast from the past. :DD
