Here is another a better quality of Fedor Emelianenko's (in blue) loss in Combat Sambo. The fighter, Blagoi Ivanov (in red), was signed by Affliction MMA moments after match although the two had been in talks for weeks prior to the tournament. Ivanov holds a record of 14-0-1 in amateur MMA. Of the loss, Fedor said this: "Yes, it was my first defeat in Combat Sambo, nothing shocking though. Its a sport, it could have happened in any moment. I'm happy that I haven't lost by KO or any other unpleasent way. I'v lost by the throw. In MMA you can be on your back as long as you want. In CS is a different rules. Nevertheless I started with Sambo and I love this sport and I will continue to compete in it. From every fight I learn something. In this case I learned that you can't have it all, if you do everyhting at ones. At the monent the most important thing for me is MMA. Its important for me to stay the champion. In MMA I won't let myself to relax at all. As for Sambo - its like a hobby (proper translation) to me, so I can relax a little bit. I can't train as hard for Sambo, because I have other things to do".

Oh and Bulgaria didn't do ANYTHING first, Fedor lost in Sambo before, all the way in 2000.

Fedor would KILL this Bulgarian in a real fight. He went too easy on him and that's why he was losing.

stop hatin, bitches. Fedor lost, period. Blagoi won that match, and Im very proud of him. BULGARIA did it 1st muthaphukkaz. Im not sayin Blagoi is better in sambo, but these are the rules. "this is fedors hobby and he still champ" fuckin hater, what the fuss??? Fedor is a fighter, and even more he is a RUSSIAN, there is no such thing as a hobby for him. Specially when he is fighting against BULGARIAN. do you know somethin about BULGARIA-CCCP history?

FEDOR HAS BEEN THE SAMBO CHAMP FOR A WHILE,this aint mma he was 2 or 3 points behind but he busted that guys face up put him in the ring with fedor the guy would not last the first round.this is fedors hobby and he still champ.

no, not only that dana wanted to do some certain restrains on the clause, i mean its called mma for a reason its obvious dana is a scared bitch, he knows fedor will destroy all his heavyweights and if fedor did join the ufc dana would manipulate his fights and try to make him loose and not only that would give him unfair payment so basicly if he joins the ufc under dana's rules then hes fucked in the mma world for ever he cant do anything except shit involved with the ufc so hes smartnot to sign
