That Ibanez Roadster bass Wetton is playing sounds awesome. A great bass.
Although the sound is largely down to his three stacked Marshall Superbass 100s...
Oh yes' I also have to add' I think it was good that he and Bruford moved on and did the One of a kind album. I feel that's one of the finest Prog-rock albums of all time.
I remember in 78' buying the 1st UK album' and being so excited' cause I was a big fan of all 4 of the musicians 4 quite a few years' but when I took it home and listen to it' I must say I was a bit disapointed. Sometime's supergroups don't work. As Allan even said; it was Jobson's band. Plain 'n' simple. I'm so glad he moved on. He and Bruford didn't quit' they were fired. They worked togetter' then Allan formed I.O.U. and that gave him chance to really open up in a way u never heard before.
