McCain Takes Credit For GI Bill He Opposed

Back

I'm happy to tell you that we probably agreed to an increase in educational benefits for our veterans that not only gives them that gives them an increase in their educational benefits, but if they stay in for a certain amount of time than they can transfer those educational benefits to their spouses and or children. That's a very important aspect I think of incentivizing people of staying in the military.

So you know: McCain placed more than 100 American troops in Iraq into deadly danger as he used them for human body sheilds as he strolled around a Baghdad market. If any had died, it would have been his fault. McCain has publicly stated the reason he is against benefits for our troops is because they won't stay in the military. McCain received a grade of D from the Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America McCain recieved a 20 percent vote rating from the Disabled Veterans of America

McCain is a joke!!!I'm moving to a different country if McCain becomes President and I hope you all do the same.

As President, I will do everything in my power to ensure that those who serve today and those who have served in the past have access to the highest quality health, mental health and rehabilitative care in the world. The disgrace of Walter Reed must not be forgotten. ... Whatever our commitments to veterans cost, we will keep them, as you have kept every commitment to us. The honor of a great nation is at stake. You sir have no honor. SELLOUT!!!!!!! I'm a vet by the way.

This is how veteran organizations rate McCain: Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America - John McCain rating: D; versus Obama's B+ Disabled American Veterans - John McCain rating: 20%; Obama's rating: 80% Vietnam Veterans of America - John McCain rating: 15 votes against/ 9 votes for; Versus Obama's rating: 1 vote against/13 votes for veterans.

This is the thing that I hate about the Media...where were they on this? How can they allow this man to take credit for a bill that he opposed and didn't even vote for? How could they allow the president to thank him in his speech when he passed the bill yet he said nothing of Obama who actually supported the bill and voted for it to make shore it passed? If McCain wins america better shut the fuck up for the next 4 years. I don't want to hear any complaining about how the economy is fucked up!

Exactly. It's easy for people to joke about how bad Bush is, but they voted him into office. TWICE! And then when they have to live with their retarded vote, they act pissed like the rest of us who didn't vote for that moron. They're gonna do the same damn thing with McCain. It's fucking ridiculous how backwards our country is.
