1969 for me meant reading 'I SPY' in 'SPARKY' comic: I appreciate the music from this era now, however. More primitive recording techniques, perhaps, but decent tunes, and that's what counts.

Yes, a recorder -- not too many pop songs use this today. :-) But, like whistling (eg Peter, Bjorn & John) I imagine it's just a matter of time before somebody brings it back.
