Has anyone else noticed that frankie almost always waits till the last topic and always is the funniest guy - i dont know how he has material on everything

because its pre-written
panchofrogg (Thursday 13th of November 2008 11:24:59 AM)
it's not pre-written you oik. they're comedians!
Chully109 (Saturday 15th of November 2008 03:01:50 PM)
are you sure though? I mean im a huge fan dont get me wrong, but it all seems too planned. or maybe they just know the topics before hand? havent u ever noticed that when they get the topics to choose from in the stand up rounds they never both go for the same topic at once, its as if they are pre-assigned
BNLBob69 (Thursday 20th of November 2008 06:29:23 PM)
They're given the topics before hand and then write their own rough material for each topic. The fact that they don't know exactly which topics they're going to be speaking on at any given moment during the show keeps the improvisation feel to the show, but they've been briefed on the material. All panel shows are run that way. Not even the best improv comics in the world can come up with that much stuff off the tops of their heads.
