I want to add that my reasoning for discussing the election was twofold. Firstly, I want to get out the vote. If you have the right to vote, you should take advantage of it! Secondly, I feel that it's important that I stand up as a McCain supporter because everyone should be able to feel good about making an informed decision, and it's easy to feel alone and left out when everyone around you wants something and expects you to want it, too.
Whoever you support in the coming election, remember to respect those who see things differently... and VOTE!

i think if i could vote in this election (not that that would ever be likely, i live in Britain and i'm 14!) i would vote for Obama, not because i agree with him all the time, but mainly because i disagree with Mccain a lot of the time. No matter the indepth politics, Mccain is obviously anti-gay, pro-war, and does not seem to have a particular inclination to help the environmental crisis. I really don't see how this is change or progress from what is already going on in America?
