Analytics is a fine and dandy tool. I've been using it for many years. But the thing about it is that if you don't have an intelligent person to analyze and implement the data, its pretty much a useless piece of software.
An intelligent person is the key to getting the most out of analytics.

I love analytics and reccomend it to anyone who asks, not sure why some people still use awstats.

You can use Google Analytics to track any web page that you own, by adding a short script to your HTML code. You'll get this code from your Analytics account, which btw, doesn't cost anything.
