By the way, before you respond remember that he first came to prominence in the US in an awful sitcom, sorry, can´t remember the name but check wikipedia if you don´t believe me. His character was an arsehole of an office boss everyone hated and he chose to play him as an Englishman. Protecting the good old Scottish copywrite that all Jocks are cuddly and nice. The residents of any English town that has hosted a Scottish Football teams supporters will quickly dispel this myth.

Oh! dear. I think you´re missing the point. I actually like the guy. However, when he talks about "innocent" porn it´s Scottish but when he talks about the nasty, smutty type it´s English. This subtle form of racism has been used by Scot´s for decades. They openly invite anyone listening to join in mocking the English as it suits their own agenda. This guy is a success in the US now and his time on the English stage and in English TV productions will not have harmed his career.

"he ain't funny" ???? Are you serious!!! This guy is REALLY funny! Letterman is outright dead.. he doesn't move anymore; just hides behind his desk. Leno is so-so. No late night show host works at making people laugh like Craig Ferguson does... I hope he keeps going. He's a blast to watch. God bless him!

But lets support a fellow Scot doing well somewhere. His banter is tailored for a US audience, come on. And we didn't throw him out, he was an established actor many moons back. I like him, but he could be funnier, couldn't we all?
